In hot and humid conditions, your Rattler Cross Country Team showed up big at the HOKA/McNeil 5k Invitational. Varsity Girls competed in the Gold division, earning 5th place as a team, led by Freshman Elly Spurlock finishing 25th overall. Varsity Boys raced in the Silver Division, placing 7th as a team, led by Sophomore Logan Martinez finishing 3rd and Junior Aiden Gendron securing 10th.
Reagan also entered a 6A Varsity Girls Team that placed 8th as a team and a young 6A Varsity Boys Team that gained great racing experience. Rattler JV Girls finised out the day with Freshmen Saraya Green taking 1st and Zoe Hawkins placing 2nd overall.
Next up the runners travel to Giddings, TX on Friday, September 26th to race in the Camp Tejas Invitational, the last regular season competition before the District Meet.
