14 Years. One Legacy. District Champions Again!

October 3, 2026

With thunderstorms expected to roll through San Antonio, our coaches were already planning ahead. Although the district tournament was originally scheduled for Thursday, October 1, the coaches made the decision to move it to an earlier date. And bright and early Monday morning, September 28, the Reagan tennis team was on the courts at 6:45 a.m., ready to compete.

The team started the day with all singles lines, on both the girls’ and boys’ sides.

Girls Singles: Iris Wang, Dhanvi Vagal, Naya Chreitah, Hallie Croft, Heidi Wilkinson, and Camila Torres.

Boys Singles: Ryan Totorica, Jerry He, David López, Ramón Montaño, Kaden Azimi, and Julian Martínez.

The singles matches moved quickly, with Reagan putting together some great results. A few courts, however, turned into intense battles featuring high-quality tennis and tough competition. Three of the matches went into super tiebreakers, and although those results didn’t go our way, the team continued to fight.

As singles came to an end, Reagan held a 9–3 lead.

It was time for doubles.

Kayarmin Shahriari and Vikas Vijay took the court for the boys, while Arielle Liu and Katelyn Naini represented the girls. Both lines battled hard and helped secure the final 11–3 victory for Reagan.

And with that, the Reagan Rattlers officially defended their title as District Champions for the 14th consecutive year!

What an incredible achievement for this team and our coaches. Fourteen consecutive district titles is a legacy built on dedication, hard work, teamwork, and pride. Year after year, this team continues to represent Reagan with determination, class, and great sportsmanship.

But we’re not done yet!

Next up: Bi-District! The Rattlers are ready to keep fighting as they take on Steele High School on Monday October 5th at Blossom Tennis Center.

Go Team! Strike ’Em! 🐍🎾
