Considering the way Reagan played against MacArthur the first time the two boys basketball teams met, the beginning of Wednesday night’s game probably was not what the Rattlers wanted to see.
It took a long time for Reagan to find its first lead in a District 26-6A game it needed to win. But once the Rattlers found that edge, they never surrendered it.
Reagan shook off the slow start to beat MacArthur 71-58 at Littleton Gym.
