Offensive player of the week

Kyle Fuller, Lee: quarterback, junior — Completed 32 of 47 passes for 594 yards and six touchdowns and ran for another score in the Volunteers’ 55-10 victory over Jefferson. He amassed 607 yards of total offense in less than three quarters.

Defensive player of the week

DJ Allen, Brennan: linebacker, junior — Recorded 10 tackles — three solo and three for loss — and two sacks in the Bears’ 41-10 win over Smithson Valley. The 10 points were the second fewest for the Rangers since August 2010.

Game balls

Reagan’s Kellen Mond amassed 263 yards of offense — 133 passing and 130 rushing — and scored four touchdowns (three rushing, one passing) as the Rattlers blanked Harlingen 42-0.

Fredericksburg’s Blake Moffett forced three fumbles, had three tackles for loss, an interception and caught three passes for 29 yards in Battlin’ Billies’ 48-35 win over Austin Travis.

Saint Mary’s Hall’s Gus Rowland passed for 197 yards and four TDs and ran for another score as the Barons defeated Austin Lanier 41-6.
